Sale representative

JPstream is looking for a highly energetic and versatile Account Executive to support its growth efforts in Japan. This individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with Japanese company, for driving revenue generation with partners and customers, and for building’s JPstream ’s reputation and presence in Japan. The position reports to the Vice President of Sales, AsiaPacific and United States.

This role would suit a self-motivated, results-oriented individual who is comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment; is interested in shaping and implementing an aggressive growth strategy for Japan; and is passionate about the internet market.

The executive shall be responsible for the following, at a minimum:
- Generating revenue from Japanese customers
- Managing JPstream relationships with operators
- Developing relationships with channel partners, systems integrators, and other 3rd parties that drive business growth in Japan
- Contributing to Japan strategy development and execution
- Building JPstream ’s mindshare among key stakeholders in the Japan market

Educational Requirements:
- BA/BS, ideally an MBA; or equivalent applicable industry experience

Skills & Required Experience:
- 7 or more years of demonstrable achievements in sales and account management
- Experience in working with various stakeholders in a ISP ’s organization
- Good knowledge of the IT industry
- Articulate communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
- Strong ability to negotiate commercial arrangements and to facilitate contractual processes with key customers and partners
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills, especially for working with both commercial and technical audiences
- High level of self-confidence and self-motivation. Demonstrated ability to work remotely and independently, especially due to distance from headquarters location
- High degree of flexibility and adaptability to a fast-changing environment. Ability to multi-task and handle rapidly shifting priorities
- Able to travel periodically, both within Japan, and internationally
- Fluent English, French and Japanese, in both spoken and written ability

Bonus Points for:
- Recent work experience at a ISP
- First-hand knowledge and experience in the web industry
- Established relationships with senior-level contacts at Japanese mobile operators
